G0 Design and Assembly of the Scintillators and their Supports

A collimated source is placed close to the scintillator, on a support allowing measurements at different positions along the scintillator. A photomultiplier tube is placed in front in order to generate a trigger signal. Since there are two scintillators to measure the signal coming from the scintillator, it is possible to calculate the intrinsic time resolution of each photomultiplier from each signals and using constant fraction discriminators and a mean timer.
